We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an Account Manager within our Bedding team to help support our Adjustable Bed business. As an Account Manager you will have the opportunity to have a high level of exposure to the top levels of our business and be exposed to new projects. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by working to cultivate a strong relationship with one of our key customers to ensure forecast accuracy and satisfaction . The team you will be working with is supportive, collaborative, and likes to get things done. They value a high level of performance and have a work hard, play hard mentality.

So, what will you be doing as an Account Manager?



  • Responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with key customer
  • Lead team as key problem solver and escalation path for the customer
  • Collaborating with customers regarding upcoming forecast and promotions
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure proper pricing for new/existing products
  • Drive customer interaction and satisfaction by ensuring we keep programs on track and on time
  • Collecting and communicating demand intelligence from customers that will be used to create the Demand Plan
  • Reviewing incoming shipments with customers to ensure timely delivery and assisting with delivery modifications
  • Reviewing orders, forecast accuracy and servicing topics with customer weekly
  • Assisting customers by responding to daily inquiries regarding orders, warranty requests and other topics
  • Creating and maintaining monthly presentation to review forecast performance, upcoming demand, incoming inventory, product changes, warranty reports and other topics with the customer



To be successful in this role, you'll need:



  • Bachelor's Degree in General Business, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
  • 2+ Years in a B2B Sales/Account Management related field
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A deep understanding of metrics, reporting tools, and data structures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work in groups or alone on projects
  • Ability to align with forward vision and proactively seek solutions to achieving vision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office Suite Products
