Your Day at Yahoo Finance

  • Build, launch and scale products on Yahoo Finance in ways that enable users to track how their portfolio performs, make decisions to better their wealth, and provide ways to act on those decisions

  • Team up with engineering and design to execute upon the product vision, own requirements, solve problems, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality

  • Define and measure product success and excellence metrics, key results to focus and prioritize the highest impact efforts

  • Communicate strategy, product roadmap, and progress to stakeholders

  • Prioritize long & short term initiatives, build trust, and set expectations with stakeholders

  • Follow technology trends and developments in retail investing, product management, and retail investor tools spaces

About You

  • 8+ years of product management experience building and launching consumer products

  • 3+ years of experience specifically related to retail investing

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams cross-functionally as well as managing the development of their own team

  • Acute problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communications skills (written and oral), including communicating technical material to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, evaluate tradeoffs and prioritize

  • Experience working with a geographically distributed team

  • Demonstrated passion for fintech, financial markets and Yahoo Finance's product and potential

  • Driven to succeed with a high comfort level with ambiguity and fluidity, and the ability to make decisions in a rapidly changing environment while achieving quality results
