Viasat is seeking a seasoned People & Culture (HR) Business Partner who will be responsible for providing strategic perspective and experience to our core functional business organizations including operations, marketing, technology, and engineering. In this role you will work closely with business and functional leadership to ensure we have the talent, capability and capacity necessary, and in the regions we need it, in order to execute on our global business strategy. Job Responsibilities
As a member of our People and Culture Business Partner team, your primary focus will be to build people and organizational capability by translating business strategy into people strategy and results. You will be a trusted advisor to the business areas you support in all aspects that impact people, organizational dynamics, and engagement. Our leaders will look to you for thoughtful P&C leadership and insight regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution. Using your strong business acumen to collaborate with leaders, you will help to create comprehensive people plans to influence engagement, development, and retention across ViaSat. Your effective use of data will help guide decision-making and provide proactive, creative solutions to business issues with people implications. Arriving at the root cause of complex, business and people challenges and recommending solutions that align and support strategic business objectives will be a top priority. Your ability to influence through a compelling presentation of data, strong collaboration with peers and stakeholders as well as business leaders will be key to your success. Last but not least, your ability to thrive in a culture where ambiguity and challenge are embraced and have a comfort level with situations that require both a tactical and strategic focus will make you a great fit for our team

Employee At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. For Colorado-based jobs only: The minimum for this position is $130,450 annually; however, base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
