We are searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse to perform a variety of dutiesinvolving direct patient care, such as medication administration, patient and family teaching, and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and within the scope of practical nursing. Utilize an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other related software to update or access patient information as appropriate. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Atwood 4 is a 47 bed medical telemetry nursing unit. The patient population consists of individuals with multiple medical problems including, but not limited to: sepsis, stroke, seizures, NSTEMI's, heart failure, COPD, atrial fibrillation, and acute/chronic kidney disease. The goal of Atwood 4 is to provide comprehensive and collaborate patient care by skilled health care providers to optimize patient care and quality of life, while striving to deliver excellence in patient satisfaction.
