As a Workers' Compensation Claims Representative II, you'll investigate, manage, and resolve customer claims that have an impact on businesses and people's lives. What You'll Do: If you excel at working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy solving problems, then this Claims Representative career is for you. You'll help to deliver quality claims service to our customers, injured workers, and other parties to a claim while protecting the assets of Sentry. In addition, you'll: Verifythat coverage exists Manage claims of medium exposure and complexity Investigateand gatherinformation about claims by contacting all parties involved Documentall decisions, correspondences, reports, and discussions Evaluateyour investigations to make decisions about the claims Resolveclaims in the best interest of the insured, claimant, and Sentry What it Takes: Bachelors Degree or related work experience 3+ years experience handling Workers' Compensation claims The desire, ability, and interpersonal savvy to handle a fast-paced, high-volume work environment Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to make sound decisions while using good judgment in evaluating claims Ability to review and interpret complex and detailed documents such as contracts, medical reports, and insurance regulations Computer skills, some medical knowledge, and prior insurance experience beneficial Ability to obtain and maintain state adjuster licenses as required Bilingual Spanish-English is an asset What You'll Receive: At Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
