Job Summary
The Technical Service Specialist is accountable for providing technical support to Avantor's global customer and sales organizations. The Technical Service Specialist interacts with internal resources to research and communicate technical and regulatory information to customers pertaining to Avantor's pharmaceutical and laboratory product offerings. The Technical Service Specialist is also responsible for developing and maintaining technical documents as well as updating the on-line technical knowledgebase and internal databases.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE: The Technical Service Specialist will be a member of the Global Technical Service Team and reports directly to the Supervisor- Product Support Quality Assurance. He/she will interact with customers on a regular basis, and works with various internal functions including Customer Service, Sales, Quality, Marketing and Operations personnel. WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment is an office setting with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level. The duties of the job may require going to the manufacturing facility on occasion. Occasional travel may be required.
