As an intern at Sonepar USA, you will work on projects that matter and have a chance to make an impact with meaningful work. You'll become an integral part of our team and be relied upon to deliver results. You will have opportunities to collaborate with both our Organizational & Leadership team on key initiatives and network with our Leadership Team.

Internship Program Overview

Our program provides a holistic experience that exposes our interns to both our Organizational/Leadership Development Team and our HR Talent teams. We believe our internship program is an amazing opportunity for students work in cross-functional teams. Where they will have an opportunity to learn and are empowered to bring forth new ideas with a fresh perspective.

Professional Development:



  • Interface with HR Talent team and business leaders
  • Actively research industry trends in Talent Management and Leadership Development
  • Gather and analyze data for program metrics
  • Contribute to the overall design of career development programs and make recommendations on virtual and in-person workshops
  • Support new and existing programs and services
  • Coordinate events for mentoring programs
  • Assist in preparing quarterly operational review documents, metrics, and presentations
  • Receive on-going coaching to enhance communication, leadership, presentation, and develop department specific competencies.
  • Leadership Exposure: Meet with executive leaders to learn about different areas of the business.
  • Network: Interns will be able to grow their network and build positive working relationships.

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Project Management or related field
  • Prior experience in program management, project coordination or leadership development a plus
