• Brand Crawford Gear dept and create Gear Sales Strategy.
• Responds to requests from customers and salespersons on matters pertaining to the application and operation of gear project quotations.
• Point of contact for gear manufacturers on projects.
• Provide alternative options on switchgear projects.
• Responsible for all quote accuracy and profitability through effective negotiations.
• Provides exceptional service in all bid processes to customers' gear project quotations.
• Ability to meet and exceed customer needs and project deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and communications skills with a "Whatever it Takes" attitude.
• Develops and maintains strong vendor/manufacturer relationships. (Gear Manf, TVSS, UPS, Med voltage, Transformers, Generators)
• Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with specifying engineers. Provide technical assistance and other product and system support to the engineering community by working independently or in conjunction with manufacturer's representatives.
• Services external consulting engineers to enhance and uphold Crawford's image and products.
• Applies knowledge of Crawford's offerings to customer's needs.
• Develop and grow Crawford's brand with Engineers as opportunity presents

• Provide alternative options (value savings) on switchgear projects prior to bid date.
• Negotiate job pricing and special levels with partner manufactures.
• Build a sustainable and profitable gear department that focuses on GMR improvement.
• Develop a plan to move Crawford into medium voltage and emergency system gear sales through self-sufficiency and create demand in the Region.
• Hire and develop specialist in the medium voltage and emergency systems markets.
• Determine with the RVP what the best options are moving forward to differentiate Crawford from other distribution and manufacturing.

• Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent Switch Gear manufacturer experience.
• Expert ability to read and comprehend electrical plans.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Contractor business and product supply chain.
• PC literate with knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & Power Point)
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ecommerce/Digital experience
