Research Laboratory Technician II

Under
general supervision, provides a wide variety of moderately complex laboratory
testing and technical lab support for a research facility. Requires knowledge of the
processes/procedures in testing, documenting experiments, maintaining
laboratory notebook, analyzing data, and reporting using complex statistical
computer software.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's
degree in related field of Science required;

2-4 year's research lab experience

Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities:

Understanding
of research methods, laboratory techniques, and care of laboratory equipment;

Ability to
interpret data, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues;

Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook;

Detail oriented;

Analytical skills;

Strong
work ethic, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work
independently;

Ability
to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending upon research needs

Standing/Climbing/Mobility: 50 - 74%

Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 25 - 49 %
