We are searching for a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Wound Care to perform a variety of duties involving case management of assigned patients including but not limited to wound care and other clinical activities associated with providing safe patient care. Responsible for periodic evaluation of assigned patient plan of care and in collaboration with Physician establish an alternate plan is needed. Participate in patient and wound care data conferences and continuing education as determined by Program Director and Manager. The Per Diem role requires that the employee be flexible in working open/available shifts.

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Hours: Per Diem - Flexible/Variable. Approximately 8-16 hours per week.

Shift: DAY, 7:45am-4:15pm

Education and/or Experience Requirements:



  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Certification (WOCN) is also preferred.
  • A minimum of one (1) year related work experience required.
  • Must demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as related database programs.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Certifications in Medical Surgical, Home Health and Wound Care preferred.
