Logistician, Mid

Key Role:

Direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a Law Enforcement Branch. Maintain operational oversight of equipment maintenance readiness rates at the garrison level. Analyze equipment maintenance shortfalls and deficiencies and develop action plan to mitigate and reduce operational costs. Develop and monitor plans for Law Enforcement equipment procurements, new equipment fielding's, life cycle replacements, and redistribution of equipment across the enterprise. Provide Law Enforcement Branch logistic updates to senior Army leaders as required. Identify limiting factors, shortfalls, and alternate support methods to enhance law enforcement operations. Input, extract, and interpret data in automated information systems. Analyze work activities to ensure quality and compliance with policies, current directions, and other publications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with logistics in the DoD

  • Experience creating written reports, using excel or pivot table development.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior DoD leaders, Federal Agencies, and non-governmental agencies

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with the Global Combat Support System-A (GCSS-A) or Force Management System (FMSWeb)

  • 2+ years of experience with the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) Decision Support Tool: Sourcing Module (DST-SM)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
