A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Manages all areas related to student recruitment for assigned programs with assigned partner institution.
  • Assists in hiring and interviewing applicants for enrollment staff in conjunction with the Associate VP of Enrollment and VP/AVP of Partner Relationship(s).
  • Trains, motivates, coaches, and supervises the local enrollment staff, including regular 1:1 meetings, utilizing Synergis coaching tools such as Twilo call assessment and EdVantage Coach.
  • Conducts new hire, quarterly and annual evaluations of direct reports, following Synergis approved processes and timeframes.
  • Builds cohorts in support of both short-range and long-range goals for the location consistent with the goals laid out by Synergis senior leadership and in collaboration with the partner institution.
  • Provides regular class build reports and accurate enrollment forecasts location to VP/AVP of Partner(s).
  • In Collaboration with Synergis Marketing and the Campus VP/AVP of Partnership(s), develop strategic marketing plans that ensures location achieves goals.
  • In collaboration with Synergis Marketing and the partner institution, leads planning and coordination of information sessions and open houses.
  • Collaborates with program deans and partner institution staff on class starts.
  • Builds positive working relationships with partner institution personnel.
  • Maintains open, honest, and collaborative communication with staff and partner institution personnel.
  • On a limited basis, represents Synergis on appropriate institution committees with the approval of the VP/AVP of Partner Relationship(s).
  • Demonstrate high competency using Synergis EdVantage CRM, Edvantage Connector, EdVantage Coach and other systems related to enrollment operations and reporting
  • Analyze and interpret reporting and act on data to improve location results.
  • Assists in interviewing enrollment employees beyond their direct responsibility.
  • May manage multiple programs and/or multiple locations.
  • Train and mentor direct reports and may assist in training and mentoring other locations' enrollment employees.
  • May serve on Synergis committees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and five to seven years of progressively responsible management experience. Direct experience in higher education enrollment or sales and marketing preferred. Experience in developing and implementing training programs and/or team building and motivational activities, as well as, managing departmental programs and activities and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite.

Language Ability:

Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

Reasoning Ability:

Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
