Loan Service Specialist

Summary: Performs a variety of clerical/administrative tasks for the processing and maintaining of commercial loans and mortgages with special focus on accuracy and professional relationships with team and customers. Transaction accuracy is critical. Commercial Loan Admin and Servicing Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Responds to customer inquiries
  • Processes daily transactions, including but not limited to, account transfers, loan payments, line of credit draws, construction mortgage advances, etc.
  • Assist Loan Administrative staff with processing wire transfer requests
  • Establishes credit files containing sensitive customer information such as financial information, credit information, correspondence, etc., requiring regular access to privileged Bank or customer information.
  • Images documentation and uploads to Integra
  • Post-Closing Verification: verifies account set up properly using new loan journals
  • Prepare discharge and release documents for Insurance Tracking, UCC filings and continuation, Semi-annual interest verifications, and Processing GL tickets
  • Prepares and Updates required loan reports including but not limited to:
  • L&I Backlog
  • Daily Central Reports
  • Reconciliation of suspense accounts
  • Committed and In Process Reports
  • Commercial Escrow Log Reconciliation
  • Flood - monthly life of loan
  • Completes all yearly compliance training and testing and complies with bank, federal, and state regulations. Complies with Bank Policies and Procedures. Adheres to departmental and bank-wide service

Education and/or Experience:

Generally requires a two-year degree; 0 - 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, Access and T-Value and ability to learn new software applications in use by the Department to include LoanVantage
