The Institutional Wealth, Regional Executive is responsible for strategic leadership within the Retirement Plans & Asset Services or Corporate Trust line of business. They collaborate with senior leadership to execute key initiatives, manage teams, and make strategic decisions related to client service, risk management, and talent development.

Job Description

The Institutional Wealth, Regional Executive is primarily responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the Retirement Plans & Asset Services or Corporate Trust line of business. This position serves as a member of the IW senior leadership team and will collaborate closely with IW's senior leadership to identify and execute key strategic initiatives, aligning them with company strategies and priorities. Also serves as the senior market leader for assigned markets and is responsible for managing one or more teams across Institutional Wealth.Serves as the liaison with BOKFS, Strategic Investment Advisors, and operational areas that support RPAS or Corporate Trust clients such as Wealth Management Services, Bond Operations, and the Participant Call Center; and coordinates with other IW managers and relationship managers across the bank footprint who serve RPAS or Corporate Trust clients. Makes strategic decisions regarding client servicing and retention, competitive position, risk management, and compliance. Monitors market and regulatory conditions/trends, makes pricing decisions, and coaches and managers staff using the Trusted Partner program. Responsible for talent development of staff.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will direct and manage personnel in ERISA, Institutional Trust/Custody and Asset Management, or Corporate Trust compliance and administration. This includes interviewing candidates, evaluating, hiring, orienting, coaching, and training personnel.
  • You will make strategic decisions and formulating strategies to ensure the smooth delivery of retirement plans or Corporate Trust solutions to clients. You will set financial and non-financial goals and objectives for employees.
  • You'll actively oversee client relationships, collaborate with managers, and actively support sales presentations. Additionally, you'll coach employees on cross-selling services.
  • As a senior representative, you will serve on various boards and committees along with coordinating activities to achieve efficient and profitable delivery of services to the client base.
  • You will oversee risk management in the line of business, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, government laws, and regulations. You will manage the onboarding of new business and verify that it is accepted in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for the oversight of legal client agreements and will confirm that our legal agreements meet the needs of the bank and clients.
  • You will work closely with the Director of Institutional Wealth, RPAS and Corporate Trust to oversee the financial planning/budgeting process.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of related experience or 20+ years of equivalent experience.

Prefer:Master's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent managerial skills, including organizational and planning skills and the ability to motivate employees to work together as a team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Retirement plans and Institutional Accounts;OCC,DOL,ERISA, and IRS regulations and audit practices. Specialized knowledge of pension laws and recordkeeping procedures or Comprehensive knowledge of the Trust Indenture Act of 1939, bond law, capital markets, and applicable securities laws and regulations and audit practices. Specialized knowledge of public finance matters and in-depth understanding of deal structures.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Bank's trust accounting system, audit and compliance program, and financial management and profitability systems
  • Exceptional knowledge of asset management techniques and practices or extensive knowledge of investments, especially fixed income securities, guaranteed investment contracts, repurchase agreements, and state statutory permitted investment requirements for municipalities.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations
  • AdvancedPCskills including knowledge of spreadsheet, database, project management, and presentation applications
  • Applicable licensing desired where needed
