Petcare Veterinary Workflow Specialist

This can be a US remote role near a large metropolitan area is preferred.

Position Summary

The Petcare Veterinary Workflow Specialist is a member of the Sales Enablement team. The primary responsibility is to provide clinics with operational expertise to improve workflow processes, Veterinary Healthcare Team (VHT) utilization, protocol implementation (focus on pain and dermatology) and hospital efficiencies to maximize patient and hospital outcomes and positioning of the Zoetis portfolio. The Veterinary Workflow Specialist will collaborate with the other Zoetis sales and medical colleagues to achieve aligned goals and support the Petcare business.

Anticipated travel within the region as required (up to 60% - 70%)

Position Responsibilities

  • Primary purpose is building relationships with the practice owner, practice manager, lead technicians and other key stakeholders to understand hospital pain points and achieve customer goals and Zoetis goals to improve hospital workflow, adoption and implementation of pain and dermatology solutions.
    • Establish champions especially PM within the hospital to lead workflow efficiencies.
    • Help establish protocols for supporting technician appointments to support Cytopoint, Solensia and Librela monthly appointments and forward booking
    • Help train Customer Service Representatives (CSR)/technicians on areas to improved efficiencies within the hospital.
    • Execute the Osteoarthritis (OA) Technician Strategy / create OA technician advocates in the hospital.
    • Identify and evaluate clinic pain points, facilitate, develop, design and implement clinic workflow processes that improve efficiencies and maximizes use of Zoetis portfolio (focus on injectable products and pharmacy inventory)
    • Educate on effective utilization of: Credentialed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, CSR
    • Key customer contact to support the hospital and aligned goals.
  • Provides clinics with guidance, instruction, and training on the product line and workflow efficiencies to increase productivity and performance through formal and informal presentations.
  • Work with Brand teams: help develop and execute technician programs to support Zoetis therapeutic areas (pain and dermatology)
  • Work with area leaders (sales, Professional Service Veterinarians (PSV)/ Strategic Growth Account (SGA)) to identify target practices to focus training on

Completes daily activity documentation, including detailed call notes after customer visits.

Qualifications (Training, Education, & Prior Experience)

  • Veterinary Technician certification required
  • Clinical experience in veterinary practice required
  • Working knowledge of Practice Information Management Software required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

Technical Skills Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address clinic pain points effectively.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with other Zoetis sales and medical colleagues to achieve goals.

Physical Position Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region and additional trainings as required by the position.

Field based position

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in (Colorado). Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $175,000
