Job Description

The Senior Regional Community Relations Manager position is primarily responsible for planning and implementation of community relations programs or projects that support organizational corporate responsibility objectives for community outreach, reputation building and business development for assigned Regional Bank. Responsible for the most complex assignments and projects. Works independently with very limited or no supervision. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BOK Financial Corporation.

Five core areas of responsibilities include:

  • Charitable Contributions: Fiscal management, processing and tracking of corporate giving and foundation budgets, and business promotion budgets for regional executive management.
  • Community Sponsorships and Events: Negotiation of terms and tracking the Bank's ROI.
  • Corporate Communications: Media relations, employee communications, and other special projects.
  • Marketing Sales Support: Coordinating local sales contests with market specific tactics; tracking and measurement through Sales Force
  • Regional Executive Project Management: Coordination of customer events, employee events, tradeshows and other projects as directed by regional executive management.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You'll manage charitable contributions which includes fiscal management, processing and tracking of corporate giving and foundation budgets, and business promotion budgets for regional executive management.
  • You will coordinator community sponsorships and events. You will lead negotiation of terms and tracking the Bank's ROI.
  • You'll partner with Marketing on media relations, employee communications, and other special projects within the market.
  • You will spend time coordinating local sales contests with market specific tactics and track and measure data through Sales Force.
  • You will work directly with your Regional Executive and serve as a project manager by coordinating of customer events, employee events, tradeshows and other projects.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field plus 10+ years experience in public relations, marketing and/or advertising; Or 15+ years of equivalent work related experience.
