We are currently seeking a Jr Technical Analyst- Jira Admin to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas (US-AR), United States (US).

Overview of job:

This is an early career position in our Government Consulting & Advisory (GCA) organization. You will work as part of a team providing client-facing business support services and completing projects for clients while delivering excellent business value. As a Technical Analyst, you will analyze applications and systems, then coordinate with project leadership to develop client-facing deliverables. In this role, the candidate will analyze business and technical user needs, document findings, and create/revise existing system documentation and perform System Admin functions with guidance from more senior analysts. This position will be supporting more experienced consultants in the planning and execution of work for our clients. Working under the direction of a more senior technical analyst and leads, you will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables.

Position may be based in our project location in Little Rock, Arkansas

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze and document business rules / functional requirements to support system enhancements.

  • Research and respond to client inquiries involving application/system questions.

  • Create and deliver correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end-user training.

  • Interact with clients as a key liaison between business and technology findings documentation.

  • Works with internal teams to understand and clarify customer requirements and to create compelling, compliant, and efficient business documentation.

  • Create and deliver business documentation and other materials via correspondence, presentations, and formal written documents.

  • Ability to elaborate on the details of a project and collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors.

  • Effectively use business process diagrams and other process modeling artifacts.

  • Schedule meetings in MS Outlook / MS Teams, Webex, or some other virtual meeting. platform to encourage attendance of key stakeholders, monitor meeting acceptance, and follow up as needed.

  • Complete all program training, including Jira specific training and obtain certification determined in training plan in the initial six-months.

  • Other duties or initiatives as assigned by program or team leadership and team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience to equal 4 years.

  • Minimum 2years of business or technology analysis experienceor working on projects that require problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to break down complex problems and develop solutions.

  • Minimum 2years in a role that is Customer focus that results in delivering a high-quality service and high client satisfaction.

  • Minimum 2years in a role that is reative, analytical, and adept at learning to maximize advanced functions of software tools.

  • Minimum 2years of experience using tools in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint).

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, potentially 50%.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Jira software.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint or other online document repositories.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience providing administrative support or develop coding for a software application.

  • Thorough knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.

  • 5 years or more years of experience with business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives.

  • Related technical certifications in cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data management, or software development is a plus.

  • Able to interview technical professionals and produce materials supporting technical processes.

  • Experience working in a team environment while making everyone accountable for their tasks as per the RACI.

  • Must possess technical writing, decision making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Must possess strong command over English language.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $70,000 to $88,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
