Who we are looking for: We are currently looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to be based out of 960 Flaherty Drive, New Bedford, MA. Reporting to Environmental Health and Safety Manager, this person will be responsible for supporting environmental, health and safety programs and maintaining compliance regulatory requirements at the site. The ideal candidate will have a vested interest in environmental health and safety regulations and completing a course of study within the environmental, health and safety field. This person will be responsible for supporting, implementing, sustaining, and continuously improving Atkore's Safety and Environmental Management System to ensure an injury-free workplace and zero notices of violations to local, state, and federal regulations.
