Job Description

Job Family Summary
Enrollment Processing supports the ongoing servicing of Allstate Benefits products implemented onto external technology benefits platforms. Supports all aspects of processing and administration of the electronic exchange of data and the servicing of perpetual data files. This area works closely with the Technical Solutions Consultant and Systems Integration Analyst, as well as the new business and premium administration teams, to ensure timely and accurate implementation and post enrollment issuance of Allstate Benefits policies

Job Summary
Supports electronic sales solutions through the management of all aspects of processing inbound enrollment data received on a perpetual basis, as requested by clients and/or technology platforms. Role initiates activity based on a workflow tracker system to coordinate a diverse set of tasks with internal systems and tools as well as interfacing with external business partners which may include client, broker, enrollment entity and technology vendor. Facilitate timely and accurate audits, research, EDI file testing, data analysis, data processing and completion of workflow tracking / reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure systems to facilitate automated handling of high volumes of enrollment data.
  • Mange work queue through use of a workflow database and ensure documentation of file processing status remains current.
  • Perform perpetual processing analysis of large data sets, involving research and determinations from wide range of internal and external systems.
  • Analyze file validation results and take appropriate actions to release for issue or reject for further corrective action.
  • Employ root cause analysis to data files that are unable to be processed through self-directed solution finding, advanced data translation techniques and SQL query modifications.
  • Evaluates complex files issues and simplifies in to directed feedback on data files to EDI file developers on best practice integration with internal processing systems.
  • Collaborates closely with internal business areas, field sales distribution, implementation, finance, compliance, underwriting, new business, customer service and IT, to effectively recognize and solve case level enrollment strategy issues to determine a middle ground solution between competing parties.
Job Qualifications
  • Project management skills - 1 to 3 years' experience managing multiple projects
  • Proficient at communicating technical needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary benefit enrollment process
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Excel in order to manage data in the enrollment process
  • Bachelors preferred in the Computer Science or business related fields or related experience
  • Advance skills in data testing, auditing, analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage concurrent conflicting priorities
  • Schedule flexibility to work extended hours during peak volumes

Compensation offered for this role is$54,000.00-$65,000.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
