Job Summary |
The College of Veterinary medicine seeks candidates for a Student Pathobiology Lab Assistant, whose primary responsibility is to engage in original, professional-level research under a faculty member's supervision in the course of obtaining a graduate degree.

Essential Functions |
- Students are expected to participate and perform all the research experiments in the lab, actively engage in routine laboratory practice, ordering laboratory reagents, and routine maintenance of the laboratory equipment.
- Students are responsible to report all the laboratory data and findings to the advisor, present data in weekly lab meeting, attend conferences to present the research results when available.
- Students are expected to conceive and pursue research projects, design experiments, prepare draft of manuscripts and efficiently maintain research ethics.
- In this role, the students will be responsible for the day to day routine laboratory research issues and should report to advisor regularly, finish all the Graduate course work and preliminary exam requirements within two years from the date of joining.
